The Phoenix College Men's Soccer Team has once again proven why it remains one of the nation's elite programs, capturing the 2025 ACCAC Division II Conference Championship — the sixth conference title in program history.
The Bears secured the championship with a dominant 13-1 conference record (16-1 overall), outscoring opponents 69–8 in conference play and 81–13 overall. Phoenix edged out longtime rival Pima Community College (12-2 conference, 15-2 overall) to claim the top spot in the final 2025–26 ACCAC standings.
This marks Phoenix College's second consecutive ACCAC title and continues a run of excellence that has defined the program's modern era under Head Coach David Cameron. The Bears' consistent discipline, defensive strength, and explosive attack have made them one of the most balanced and feared teams in the country.
"This group has shown incredible focus and maturity all season," said Cameron. "They've worked for each other, stayed humble, and stayed true to our philosophy of controlled energy and togetherness. Winning the conference is a great accomplishment, but our journey isn't finished yet."
Phoenix's conference dominance was highlighted by a seven-game winning streak to close out the regular season, during which the Bears showcased their trademark precision on both ends of the field. The team's defensive unit allowed the fewest goals (8) in conference play, while the offense led the ACCAC with an impressive 69 goals scored.
With the ACCAC title secured, the Bears now turn their focus toward the NJCAA Region I Playoffs, where they'll aim to add to their growing trophy case and make another deep run on the national stage.
The 2025 title adds to Phoenix College's championship legacy, joining previous conference wins in 2004, 2005, 2017, 2018, and 2024.
