The No. 10 Phoenix College Bears responded in a big way after last week's setbacks, earning a doubleheader sweep over Chandler-Gilbert Community College on Saturday.

After dropping two games to South Mountain the previous weekend (6–3 and 14–3), the Bears slipped one spot in the rankings from No. 9 to No. 10, entering the week with a 22–4 overall record.

Phoenix College wasted no time bouncing back, dominating game one against Chandler-Gilbert with an 11–3 run-rule victory. The Bears carried that momentum into game two, holding off a late push to secure a 6–5 win and complete the sweep.

The Bears face a busy week ahead with two conference doubleheaders. Phoenix College will travel to take on Paradise Valley before returning home on Saturday, March 21 to host Mesa in a doubleheader scheduled for 10 a.m. and 12 p.m.
